Thru The Mirror (1936)

This classic animation layout drawing is from "Thru the Mirror" (1936) and is familiar to many from Christopher Finch's fine book The Art of Walt Disney. As a result of this, perhaps, taken with the presence of a sleeping but very recognizable Mickey Mouse and the finished state of the artwork, the sale price is rather hefty, although well within the published estimate.
